'SALAMANDER' offers comfortable accommodation for up to perhaps 7 people across 3 cabins. The forward twins have been combined into a spacious master V-berth with bunks, with the flexibility to easily replace the divider if desired. The aft doubles are generous, each sharing the day head/bathroom.
The saloon features a practical dining table with ample seating, complemented by newly upholstered cloth-covered cushions (2026), giving the interior a fresh and comfortable feel.
The interior benefits from approximately 6’6” (approx 1.98 m) of full standing headroom throughout, contributing to an open and spacious atmosphere. Heating is provided by an EBERSPACHER system with 5 outlets, ensuring comfort in cooler conditions.

Powered by a Volvo MD22P 59HP diesel engine, regularly serviced. Sea water cooled. Cruising speed approximately 7.5 knots, with a maximum speed of up to 9 knots. Sail drive system fitted, upgraded with a custom positive pressure expansion vessel. MAXPROP 3-blade folding propeller, professionally serviced by Darglow (UK, 2025). Maxpower retractable bow thruster (2005).
Sloop rigged with 19m aluminium alloy mast and spars. Stainless steel standing rigging replaced in 2015 by Northland Spars and Rigging (New Zealand).
Trimmable backstay with power tackle. Headsail furling system.
Inner forestay for downwind sailing. Equipped with spinnaker pole and whisker pole.
All lines led aft to the cockpit. Additional Rutcherson RC750 rope clutches fitted. Five Hasselfores bottle screw covers installed.
The keel requires minor treatment and repainting on the port side. There are a few gelcoat chips present on deck. The sprayhood requires new windows to be sewn in. Coppercoat was applied at the last haul out in 2023.
