Nakaiy is a beautifully maintained 1998 Beneteau Oceanis 40 CC, currently located in the Maldives. In 2024, she underwent a complete and extensive makeover, transforming her into a highly capable and comfortable cruiser ready for off-grid tropical living or long-distance sailing.
The refit included a total electrical rewiring and the installation of a modern off-grid power system, featuring lithium iron batteries, a powerful 3000W Victron inverter/charger, and a new solar installation. These upgrades provide reliable, efficient, and fully independent onboard energy.
In addition, the vessel received a full renewal of both standing and running rigging, as well as new ground tackle, ensuring safe and dependable sailing performance. All seacocks were replaced with premium True Design composite seacocks, significantly improving durability, corrosion resistance, and onboard safety.
The Beneteau Oceanis 40 CC is renowned for its excellent layout, with a secure and elevated center cockpit that offers outstanding visibility and makes handling easy and safe, even for short-handed or single-handed sailing. The spacious aft owner’s cabin features a comfortable island bed—a rare and highly desirable feature in a vessel of this size—making life onboard exceptionally practical and comfortable for extended stays.
Nakaiy has been carefully owned and upgraded over the past two years, with every improvement made to support reliable cruising and comfortable onboard living. She is now offered for sale only as the owners are upgrading to a larger vessel for their next chapter.
This is a turnkey, fully upgraded Oceanis 40 CC, ideally suited for sailors seeking a safe, comfortable, and energy-independent cruising yacht.
