Here is a true ocean going yacht. The CORBIN 39 is Canadian designed and built and has the extremely tough Airex foam core, encapsulated lead keel, flush decks and cutter rigged... good qualities for the long range / high latitude yacht. The huge interior comes from the high topsides, interior volume and headroom in particular benefiting.
In 2024/2025 'MICKEY' was totally refurbished into top quality condition with over 50 000 euros spent.
Outside, the hull, deck, mast and boom were professionally re painted. New standing rigging, new guardrails and a new mainsail. A new sprayhood and bimini were installed. New navigation lights and antennae. The windlass was thoroughly refurbished plus new remote controls in the cockpit. New solar panels and energy management systems, new batteries... 12V-220 V inverter installed ....
Down below much was replaced for new…many new plug sockets and touch sensor white/red interior cabin lights installed, re plumbed and rewired where necessary. The whole interior was repainted and revarnished, all new cabin soles and new upholstery and cushions throughout. A new airconditiong unit was installed. A new shower unit was installed and a new electric head.
The main engine had a full service with new ancilliaries.
'MICKEY' is currently berthed here in Langkawi within easy reach of the Malaysian and Thai islands for lazy cruising. Alternatively she is in excellent condition and fully equipped for anyone wishing to continue the adventure and make extended blue water cruising.

A very spacious interior with a high passageway to the aft cabin. She is a two double cabin yacht, currently only one bathroom adjacent to fore cabin. The saloon has a secure sea going feel, ready hand holds and the starboard settee has a strong lee cloth for passage-making. The fitout in solid wood retains its quality appearance and much improved now freshly re painted and varnished c/w all new cushions and upholstery.
One electric JABSCO (2025) in the yacht's single bathroom up front to port. 90 litre stainless steel holding tank. Sink and vanity. New shower stall fitted in 2025.
Original alloy cutter rigged sloop, re painted in 2025. Deck stepped. Standing and running rigging all replaced in 2025. Spinnaker pole c/w mast track.
