'Moonwatch' is a very striking, fast and well built blue-water yacht.  She was professionally built by Huon Yachts in King Billy Pine strip planking with Blue Gum frames and fully grp sheathed, a very strong design.  The yacht comes to the market with many recent renewals and upgrades.... all new standing rigging in 2021, a new 6 person life raft in 2021, new windlass in 2022, new electric halyard winch in 2020, new mainsail in 2020, a new spinnaker in 2021, new Raymarine electronics in 2020, a new electric head and new holding tank with macerator in 2020, all new seacocks in 2020.  In more recent times yet more.... please read on to discover the many more upgrades between 2023 and today.

Accommodation:

The yacht offers a good accommodation layout.  The saloon, with a dinette to port and settee to starboard, offers a good berth with a lee cloth and the dining table can be lowered to form a good double there.  Full forward the generous double has additional storage in the passage opposite the large bathroom.  The bathroom is well built, the soles and bulkheads are made of commercial welded vinyl.

Moving aft the generous galley is opposite the nav station and two aft cabins complete the accommodation.  Fit and finish throughout is excellent and the interior as a whole is light and airy.


Galley:

A large galley with heaps of stowage space.  Double sink and Corian counter tops.  Fridge and freezer.  Hot and cold pressurised water.  Two burner gas stove and oven.


Showers:

One in bathroom.  Hot and cold water. 


Heads:

One electric c/w holding tank.  Both new in 2020.

The yacht is a 12VDC set up only, using a direct feed from shore power into the yacht without inlet.   VICTRON charger / inverter (2024).  The yacht's DC system is 12VDC.

Charging from main engine alternator and four solar panels, installed in 2023 and 2024 c/w two VICTRON solar controllers, also 2024.

One automatic elctric bilge pump


Mast/ Rigging:

A powerful cutter rig by ALLYACHTS .  New mast bolts in 2024.  New wind instruments and masthead gear including LED lights in 2024.  Hydraulic backstay.  WALKER boom brake.  New halyards 2024.  All new standing rigging in 2021.
