The Beneteau Oceanis 41 is a swift and elegant cruiser that was first produced in 2011. The new design brought a new hull form, rig moved further aft for improved sailplan balancing, fast steering responses and a great form stability.

With almost full beam carried aft the cockpit is huge and the twin wheel arrangement makes good sense..this also provides well for two good sized aft cabins.

The electrically lowering transom / swimming platform is outstanding and a big feature for the teak cockpit and used either at anchor or even simply stepping onto the yacht !

This yacht is totally self sufficient with an excellent new solar array.

Accommodation:

A fresh and contemporary interior by Nauta Design and the fit and finish of the computer cut joinery is very good.

This yacht is the three cabin, one bathroom version. The companionway steps are relatively shallow and easy to use at sea. Full CRUISEAIR air conditioning in all cabins, two units, all LED lighting.

The yacht has an advanced wireless remote control FUSION Marine Entertainment System, FUSION-Link technology, and can be used from the chartplotter in cockpit or, as the owner commonly enjoys, by Iphone.  The recent addition of STARLINK has meant that movies may be watched together with the FUSION system bringing high quality stereo sound from the saloon speakers.

Galley:

The galley is complete with a 2 burner propane stove, oven and grill. double SS sink, hot and cold water plus foot pumped salt water. 12v front opening 133 litre fridge and top loading 85 litre freezer, loads of counter space and storage.  Kitchen appliances, tableware, cutlery, cookware and utensils, glasses and cups.

The yacht's AC system is 240 VAC, shore power inlet and cable, CRISTEC 60 amp battery charger and various outlets throughout the yacht. MASTERVOLT MASS 12/2000 Inverter and VICTRON Phoenix 12/375 inverter (television)

DC system is 12VDC. House bank is 4 x 150 amp batteries (2025).  One engine start battery (2025) is 1 x 110 Ah.

Automatic bilge pump.  Bow thruster batteries are 2 x 50 Ah.

Toptastic charging capacity from a new solar array of 3 x 600 watt panels c/w two MPPT controllers (2025).  This solar system has transformed life afloat, giving total network power in excess of one kilowatt.  The owner is able to use, with the 2000 watt inverter, his 600 watt kettle, 700 watt toaster and 350 watt rice maker simultaneously.

Covers and Awnings:

Sprayhood installed over the companionway, which seamlessly extends into a bimini covering the entire cockpit. The bimini is relatively new, installed at the end of 2022, while the sprayhood is brand new, installed in January 2024.

Additionally, there are two awnings mounted on rails along each side of the boom. These awnings can be rolled up when not in use or rolled down and secured to the lifelines or railings, offering extra protection from the rain and sun when the yacht is not sailing. The awnings provide an extensive coverage range, reaching from the aft cockpit to beyond the sprayhood.

There are also custom covers for both steering wheels, the aft cockpit winches, and the outboard motor, ensuring these elements are well-protected when not in use.
