Bruce Roberts 56Enquire About This Yacht
This 17 metre Roberts design is truly a large volume yacht. A beam of 17 feet combines with the yacht as a whole to give massive interior space with headroom exceeding 7' 6''. 'Gitana' is offered for sale primarily as an excellent liveaboard, present owners enjoyed her as such for eight years in Singapore, but with some extra investment she will be ready to explore oceans again.
Sails and standing rigging need replacing but the engine is still reliable, delivered happily to Langkawi from Singapore. In fact the engine was stripped and reconditioned repainted and all hoses replaced, new fuel pump, fresh water header, exhaust hose, and exhaust water trap stripped welded and renovated in 2015.
In 2014 The hull had a total of eight coats of West System epoxy including the last three of West epoxy encapsulated copper coat. Owners hauled every 18 months.
The yacht has been cared for up to today, 2017 saw all new Raymarine equipment installed.
