The Hans Christain HC 43T is a renowned blue water cruiser and comfortable live-a-board boat.  With her fully integrated keel, classic lines, fine hand crafted teak interior and custom bronze deck fittings, this enduring, stable and roomy vessel will get you to your destination in style and safety.  This vessel has had a total of 3 owners and a history of long ocean passages. Since 2008, the present owners have divided their time between cruising western Thailand and Langkawi and restoring the boat to her former glory.  In 2009 she benefited from; topsides respray with  AWL grip paint,  below waterline osmosis treatment and epoxy re-sealing (Jotun penguard HB). 
This vessel is ready for ocean passages or coastal cruising, offering generous storage, exceptional accommodation with new dry cell foam matresses in all sleeping quarters, an enviable fully equiped galley with 4 burner stove and oven and a 12V refridgeration system that works so well – you can guarantee a cold beer at anchor. 
She carries a number of exceptional built in safety features, including high gunnels, fully enclosed stainless steel safety rails on deck, deep cockpit seating and additional emergency steering features.

Accommodation:
Two double cabins fore and aft plus up to three single berths in main saloon. The original layout gave a single cabin aft behind the nav station and now sites a generator and workshop. This single cabin could readily be returned to it's original use. The interior is the usual HC quality with rich selected and hand rubbed Burmese teak and bronze fittings, well lit and ventilated not least by the large traditional butterfly hatch in the saloon. Six 'Apple and Glow' flourescent lights, 2 stage white and 2 stage red,throughout the interior.
Galley:
Double, deep stainless steel sinks ( at the centreline of yacht ) with cold pressurised water, salt water taps,and watermaker outlet for testing. Oven is a Force 10, four burner gas stove. Plenty of drawer and locker space plus ceramic, tiled countertops with generous fiddles. Refridgeration, top loading, is 128 cubic litres and is managed by a 12volt Adler Barbour unit (c/w primer kit gauges, vacuum pump, electronic leak detector and gas bottle) A 10 cubic litre freezer section fitted within. Consumption-6amps.
Head:
The single head is a manual Lavac. 100 litre holding tank, not currently in use.

Navman wind instrument, Standard Horizon log/speed, Standard Horizon depth sounder plus Echopilot FLS forward looking sonar. Raymarine/Autohelm 6000 updated to 8000 autopilot. Additional Navico tiller pilot. Standard Horizon vhf radio( 2010 ). Icom M800 hf radio. Furuno 1621 radar. Furuno GP32 fixed gps. 12volt digital yacht computer with 15 inch screen plus a Toshiba laptop computer c/w Cmap 2007 and Maxsea. For entertainment, a Coby amplifier powers up sound devices such as MP3 or iPod and selects Boston speakers inside, Rockford speakers in cockpit or all. One cd player sited in saloon, not in use.
Mast/Rigging:
18 metre single spreader masthead cutter rig with Navtec hydraulic backstay and Sea Rig turnbuckles. Stays were changed in 1995 with oversize stainless replacements.
Deck Gear:
Cape Horn wind vane steering. Salt water deck wash. Custom made stainless steel and teak folding boarding ladder. Cockpit winches: 2x Barient #3 , 1x Barient #23, 1x Barient #10 st. Mast winches: 2x Barient #23, 1x Barient #10 st. Boom winches: 2x Lewmar single speed. 4 x 25 litre jerry cans. Pushpit, pullpit and continuous stainless, high, solid safety rail. Outboard engine hoist and rack at pushpit.
Ground Tackle:
Main anchor is a 65lb CQR with 80m of 12mm chain and 50m of rode. Secondary anchor is a 45lb Bugle with 70m of 12mm chain and 50m of rode. Fortress FX55 stern anchor with 10m chain and 50m anchor rode. The windlass is a 12volt Muir Cheeter with manual option.
Safety Gear:

Sail Inventory:
Lee sails, tan bark colour main, staysail and yankee in excelent condition plus a full set of spare sails. Fully battened main has three reefs, staysail has three reefing points and headsail is Profurl furling gear.
