YBC  Yacht Delivery - all the info and facts. Delivery Areas:      Deliveries can be done anywhere within the areas shown on the map, which covers all of South East Asia and most of Australia. Delivery Overview:      Deliveries are done in a professional manner for a reasonable price in a safe and timely fashion. A licensed captain and a mate are required on board each delivery. The owner, or relative/friend are welcome to join in as an observer or assist in the delivery.       A delivery contract, needs to be signed between the owner and captain. We will firstly send you a simple pre-delivery questionnaire to obtain yacht details and your requirements of the delivery. From this we supply a quote. To see a sample questionnaire:  click here Delivery Rates:       Vessels and itineraries vary considerably and therefore it is not practical or fair to either party to set one rate for yacht delivery. After analysing the pre-delivery questionnaire we will quote an all inclusive delivery service fee based upon a number of factors including: proposed route and season - vessel speed and equipment/condition of vessel and the number of crew required.       The delivery fee, which is payable in advance, covers crew wages, transportation (to or from delivery points), fuel, berthing (if applicable) and provisions for the duration of the delivery. Any repairs or parts required en route are billed, with receipts, at the completion of delivery at our direct cost. Delivery Reports:       The Owner is provided with a comprehensive report constructed from notes taken from a 4 hourly log while underway. The delivery reports are very helpful to new and used boat owners. A yacht delivery survey report provides valuable information for future maintenance or needed upgrades. The delivery survey report is free and part of our services supplied. Delivery Safety:       The first concern is for the safety of the yacht and those aboard her. A complete study of the anticipated weather and sea conditions is undertaken by the captain as part of the pre-delivery analysis. While under way, whatever communications are available on board are utilized to obtain the latest weather forecast and acted upon to keep out of harms way and continually update the best and safest route. Delivery Progress:       Depending on communications availability from the captain back to base while under way, the owner is given a daily update of yacht's position/weather conditions and progress being made during the delivery with an ETA.                                                           ----------------------------------------------------      We can also provide complete yacht inspection and survey report for pre-purchase and/or insurance and assist and train owners in the safe operation of their new yacht.
