"Colin
Childs"
- 47 ft Steel Ketch - USD139,000 |
|
"Sea Quest" is a full displacement,
long keel cruising ketch. The previous owners have cruised the
Pacific for the past 18 years. She's fitted out
comfortably for a couple or family for long term, live-aboard
cruising.
Her equipment and systems
have been refined over the years and maintained so
as to be ready for sea. As testament to her strength &
seagoing integrity she has rounded the Horn and sailed the
Southern Ocean.
All sail handling is easily and
safely managed by one person within stainless pulpits and heavy
lifelines. The high bulwarks afford maximum protection and
safety when working sails or anchors on the foredeck.
The interior wood work has all
been executed by a professional cabinet maker using solid
teak and traditional construction methods.
The engine is a reliable
6 cylinder 118hp Ford with 1700 hrs since major engine rebuild
carried out in 2002.
It has easy all around access, as does the Kubota
Z-482, 2cyl,
10hp generator located
in well equipped workshop, which has work bench with vice and
full headroom.
Your inspection is invited with sole brokers.
