NAUTICAT
33 MKII Motor Sailer - EUR79,500 O.N.O. |
|
Nauticat
Yachts, made by Siltala Yachts of Finland, are the leading
manufacturer of traditional motorsailers and pilothouse sailing
yachts in the world.
The secret behind the
popularity of Nauticats is quite simple. The demanding Nordic
climate and good taste, plus superb Finnish craftsmanship and
the experience gained in building more than 2500 Nauticats. That
has resulted in yachts admired amongst all discerning yachtsmen
.
The hull design incorporates a
long fin keel with a cutaway forefoot and after deadwood
allowing the rudder to be set aft
of a skeg - thus providing the best of both the fin and long
keel worlds -a semi chine in her underwater aft quarters
provides generous buoyancy and helps reduce "squatting" under
power. Perhaps these evolvements are one reason why the Nauticat
33 has been in production since the 1960's and continues to this
day.
This fine example has been
meticulously maintained and had ongoing upgrades, including a
Volvo TMD31 100hp engine installed new in 1996 which is in
excellent condition and was fully overhauled in Singapore in
2008.
The engine room under the cabin
sole of wheel house is huge and allows total all round access
for easy maintenance.
Your personal inspection is invited by appointment with YBC.
