"Persian Lady" is a 12 metre catamaran of Roger Simpson
design. She was built in England by East Point Catamaran to an
approved surveyed standard of finish. Launched in 1993 she
cruised the UK North Sea until 1998 when she commenced her world
cruise.
Since leaving the UK she has extensively and safely crossed the
Atlantic the Pacific and cruised throughout the Caribbean.
Since 2000 she has made a number of seasonal passages between New
Zealand and the islands of Tonga, Fiji, Samoa and Vanuatu and
the Wallis group. In 2005 she cruised Australia and then passaged
through Indonesia to Thailand and Malaysia where she is now
based.
Thus, she is a proven safe offshore blue water vessel; a comfortable
home for the discerning cruiser. In 2000 she was modified to
extend the hulls by 0.75 metres in the stern to enhance the
profile and improve performance and it also created an ideal
bathing platform.
