OWNER'S INSTRUCTIONS... "SELL NOW"
This Bruce Roberts 40' steel cruising yacht is the popular
version of the Joshua Slocum's "Spray". She was built in New
Zealand as a gaff rigged cutter, and equipped with the cruising
'essentials' for comfortable passage making.
This strong and sturdy vessel was equipped for a voyage to the
Antarctic, which testifies to its structural integrity and
exceptional seaworthiness.
The auxiliary engine is a reliable 69 hp Perkins marine diesel in a spacious engine room with full headroom.
There's a NEW 9000 btu 240v Air-conditioner that has just been
fitted, in the saloon, which can be run off shore power or gen-set.
Work commitments take the owners back to live ashore, so this
well maintained 'blue-water' vessel is offered for sale at an
attractive asking price of AUD$85,000, (which in Sept '09 is
equal to around US$70,000. or Euro50,000.
