     Denis Ganley was a leading yacht designer in New Zealand who specialised in steel yacht design. The reason for designing mostly in steel, was to provide the ultimate in strength and safety for offshore and serious cruising. There are over 1,000 of these designs sailing around the world today. Many have made remarkable passages offshore and have successfully competed in various regattas.
     This boat, "Kiwi Kiwi" is a fine example of such achievements.
She has made lots of cruises to the pacific islands and one complete circumnavigation and is "ready to go around again".
     Being professionally built in 1985 by Southern Yachts Auckland, the interior is rich local wood (Kauri).  There are two large double berths (fwd and aft) and one separate single berth and two heads
(one with large separate shower stall). The huge living area, as you can see below, has a spacious saloon and roomy galley, plus a fully equipped navigation station.
